Good to know
Do I need my own server or technical skills?
No. Gigawave runs in the cloud. You register your device, paste one link into its settings, and follow the on-screen steps.
Which equipment should I buy?
For a quick start, a Ruijie Reyee AP such as the RG-RAP62-OD works on its own. For data bundles, exact usage and blocking of hotspot sharing, add a MikroTik hEX PoE in front of it.
How do customers pay?
With a printed voucher from your staff, or on the login page with mobile money. Mobile-money collection is in final integration; until then online payments run in test mode.
Can one customer share their pass with friends?
Each package has a device limit that Gigawave enforces. Sharing through a phone’s personal hotspot can be blocked with a MikroTik router.
Is the login page in Swahili?
Yes. It opens in Swahili by default, and customers can switch to English with one tap.
